Wildwood Buggy Bash 2009
(Spring Thing)
May 8th, 9th, and 10th.
Well the Spring
Wildwood Buggy Bash 2009 is history and what a great Bash
it was.
First we must thank the weather Gods.
The forecast called for a 60% chance of rain Friday and
Saturday, partly cloudy Sunday.
Friday and Saturday we gathered at
North Beach under mostly sunny skies with north to
northwest winds at 10 plus.
With a Saturday night prediction of SW
winds at 13 mph for Sunday we changed location to Pier
Beach in Wildwood Crest for Sunday. It was perfect!
All three days were filled with
good friends (and some new ones), good food, good power
kiting, good BloKarting, and great fun.
Saturday night we all got
together at Beachcomber Campground for more good food
(thanks Brian and Jen), and a collection of Wildwood Power
Kiting/BloKarting videos presented by LBJ.
I think this weekend we set the
bar for what a near perfect event is all about.
Thanks to all that attended and a
"Big Thanks" to those that contributed in making
the Wildwood Buggy Bash 2009 (spring thing) a memorable
happening.
